Euroclear’s branch office in Japan has enhanced its team with the appointment of Yuto Takahashi as account manager.
Based in Tokyo, Takahashi will report to Yasuo Yamanaka, head of commercial for Japan at Euroclear.
In his new role, Takahashi will be responsible for managing client relationships and sales throughout the Japan region.
Prior to Euroclear, Takahashi worked at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation. Most recently he served in the associate-global business promotion department.
During his time at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Takahashi has also worked in the associate-global advisory department.
Elsewhere, Euroclear UK & Ireland was recently granted the ability to continue to offer issuer central security depository services after the Brexit transition period ends on 31 December 2020.
